Writer to Author to Small Business Owner?When I first decided to publish my book A Perfect Miracle, I knew it would be a multi-stage project. I just didn't realize it would be a crash course in small business entrepreneurship!
Thankfully, I've had some great advice from my accountant, family members, and friends who are a lot more business-savvy than I am. It is definitely a work in progress, so please be patient with me as I learn the ins and outs of publishing a book and the business that runs parallel to the publication process! When will the book be published? I hope before Thanksgiving 2019! I returned the internal proof of the book this week to my publisher, with correction recommendations, and I should have that back sometime next week. I have the opportunity to make another round of changes, so how long it takes, depends on me. Once the internal proof is approved, a release date isn't too far behind! I will keep you posted!
